Dale J Perkins is behind DJP Audio, where high-end valve amplifiers are crafted with precision. DJP believes that high-end audio doesn’t have to come with a high-end price tag and that there should be a blend of good visual design and sound accuracy. His valve phono amplifiers are based on those invented by Les Carpenter (you can read more here). In DJP's opinion, Les was an amazing mentor and electronics genius. These valve amplifiers are made to deliver RIAA accuracy, ensuring vinyl recordings sound exactly as they are meant to.

Samuli Selin from Finland collaborated with Les to create an integrated PCB board, which is the heart of these units. The board was originally designed to replace the one in the Yaqin MS23B, which seems to suck the life out of music. After buying an MS23B, Les set pen to paper due to his disappointment in its performance.

As a professional music composer and producer, DJP brings a deep understanding of sound fidelity, and his commitment to authenticity means that every vinyl playback is transcribed accurately to the RIAA standard.

Dale's skills cover a wide range of audio equipment. He is adept at repairing most amplifiers built before 2000, ensuring that your vintage gear continues to perform at its best.

Forthcoming designs will include an amp switcher designed to protect valve integrated amplifiers when switching to solid-state, and a Step-Up Transformer (SUT) for Moving Coil Cartridges.
