I thought it apt to post my appreciation to Dale Jonathan Perkins for the safe delivery of my LesBox 5 preamp.

Dale lovingly constructed this piece of heaven and updated me throughout the build. His devotion so apparent during the process and all of my ignorant questions answered. I had no doubts at any point and looked forward to his updates and personal insights, always better off as a result. As for the amp itself....I was stunned and quite emotional as I first tested it out with a series of familiar records I thought I knew completely. The treble, mids and low end were all so very well balanced and tuned. The difference in quality between the LB5 complete build and my Yaqin Ms23b was by some considerable distance. Dale gave me a comprehensive set of options ranging from the well appreciated Les carpenter mod of my Yaqin ms23b to the complete new build using the higher quality audiophile components. I even got a choice of led indicator! I opted for the best version and my ears are truly over the moon with that decision. I doubt I could have afforded or justified the expense of a retail version of what I was hearing. So if anyone here is sitting on the fence as I was to take the plunge, in my modest view and experience...just do it. Thanks so very much to Dale Jonathan Perkins

Let me just say that the gentlemen behind the Lesbox mods are some of the kindest, most honest, fun and friendly group of guys I have come across in a long time. Dale Jonathan Perkins is absolutely a class act and his work is impeccable! I stalked the Lesbox mod for years before I pulled the trigger. I had a stock ms23b, Lesbox with original board and now a pristine Lesbox 4 with new board modded by Dale.

It was one hell of a journey but worth every moment and penny. If you are considering a Lesbox I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you Dale I'm in heaven!

Thanks Dale Jonathan Perkins for the excellent speaker switch build.

Not having to constantly swap speaker connections between solid state AVR and my MC-10T means this is a satisfying and much needed addition to my set up.

The switch is based on a Les Carpenter design (hope you are doing okay Les) so has a dummy load for safety.

New BK Double Gem subwoofer has arrived so will be connecting the box up to Yaqin tomorrow, having worked flawlessly so far with just the AVR.

On a more personal note, Dale is an excellent person to deal with and i can highly recommend his work.

Looks awesome, appreciate all that you and Les have done to share your knowledge and experience with us.
